CLASS SYNOPSIS
at the beginning of each class we were given a paper with a discussion question that we had to answer. every week 2 artists in the film and photography department came to share their work.
MY REACTION
[SWEET!]
because it was such an easy class. All you had to do was answer one question then sit back and relax the rest of the class! I found it very informative about the kinds of things they are producing in the department. Although, I was particularly unimpressed with some of the work I had seen. For example, one girl came and showed us a project that she had been working on for nine months. Immediately I was excited to see what she had been working so hard on. And then it was this animation she had put together from photos taken on a camera phone. They were of her masturbating. She seemed confused and undecided about her answer when asked why she chose her thesis and exactly what her thesis was. She went on about how she's also a stripper and showed us a video of her giving her boyfriend a lap dance.

that class was so dumb. it was just a 2 hr a week period i set aside exclusively for naps.
i never saw that masturbation video, but i do wish that girl had shown it to our class so i could grill her on it.

i guess you and james had this class together. i like the format you got going on here. i feel like your talking instead of me reading. i mean you got beirut on here. A+ weeds also had this song a couple of weeks ago.
