survey of western art

WHEN & WHERE
1.25 hours twice a week at the grace st. theatre

TEACHER
Paula L. Winn

CLASS SYNOPSIS
it was a lecture class during which we watched her discuss slides of pieces of art. She informed us of where and when the art was made, what it was made of, by who it was made of. As she went on about art an attendance clip board was being passed around. We also learned about the cultures in which the piece came from, as well as historical events occuring during that time period. She posted the slides we had to know for the tests on blackboard, although that wasn't all that was on the tests.

MY REACTION
[BORING!]
because it was a lecture class really early in the morning. Most of which i received C's on. I was slightly jealous when hearing my friends with different teachers for this class talk about how they don't even have to show up to class and take open note/book tests online in their bedrooms.

I hate Marilyn Stokstad and so should you. Don't buy into her crap.

Oooooh I can't believe you made it through.

I dropped this crap so quick it was ridiculous. Alas, now I must retake it next year. Damn those people who got to have tests online at home. Bitches...

I know, Steven. Her writing is so confused and backwards. Rarely does she make a clear point. Thank God I got the easy teacher with the open book tests (you may all hate me now with my permission).

Hey! I have that book! ;)
Im not a fan of this book- it is way to condensed to grasp an understanding of what is going on during that time period.
