CLASS SYNOPSIS
we learned about many art forms involving time. our first assignment was a photo essay series we did with partners. we also made two flip books, 1 hand drawn and 1 using photographs. in addition we made a flash animation using 3 descriptive words we drew out of a hat. and finally a video which had to represent "jack and jill". each week we usually had a few contemporary artists we had to research and document in our sketchbooks.

MY REACTION
[FAVE!]
because i got to do photography and video which are my favorite types of art. i learned many sweet technical skills in many programs i've never used before. and the professor encouraged resubmitting projects which is cool because sometimes you aren't impressed with your work the first time around. also the class changed my outlook on art because i never used to think of flip books or flash animations as art. i also learned how to blog!
